    Discovery Air Defence Services signs agreement with APS for Jet Upset Training

    DA Defence and Aviation Performance Solutions LLC (APS), an Arizona-based flight training organization, announced on May 13, 2015, an agreement for high-performance Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). DA Defence is integrating its A-4 Skyhawks with APS' cutting edge UPRT solutions.

    Discovery Air Fire Services awarded 7 year contract with Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry

    On April 2, 2015 Discovery Air Fire Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery Air, announced that they signed a new agreement with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (OMNRF) to provide Birddog Aircraft Services and Detection Aircraft Services (including Detection Observers) in support of the OMNRF’s forest fire management requirements.

    Discovery Air Defence Services completes first mission for the German Armed Forces

    On January 13, 2015 Discovery Air Defence Services completed its inaugural flight in Wittmund, Germany providing fast jet airborne training services to the German Armed Forces. The successful mission was flown in support of German Ground Controller Intercept training and numerous intercepts were conducted. The Lead Pilot of the DADS German team, with over 2,000 hours experience on the A-4, led the mission and continues to prove that experience matters! Photo Credit: Wouter Haan.

    Air Tindi and Advanced Medical Solutions awarded Medevac Services Contract

    On January 6, 2015 Air Tindi Ltd. (ATL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery Air Inc., announced that the Government of the Northwest Territories awarded ATL and Advanced Medical Solutions the medevac equipped aircraft services contract for the Stanton Territorial Health Authority. This contract is for an 8 year term to 2023, with an option for STHA to extend the contract for an additional 2 years.

    DA Defence Services Deploys A-4 Aircraft to Germany

    DA Defence Services has begun the deployment of its significantly upgraded, glass cockpit, advanced A-4N fleet to Wittmund, Germany to begin its contract with the German Armed Forces. Under its contract, DA Defence Services will provide fast jet airborne training services to the German Armed Forces for a term of five years, commencing January 2015. This announcement was made at the Ottawa International Airport by senior Discovery Air executives alongside, Member of Parliament for Bruce – Grey – Owen Sound, Larry Miller, Chair of the Government of Canada Transport Committee.
