Discovery Air Technical Services (DATS) is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO 23-10) with a wide range of capabilities. We are authorized to perform maintenance and modifications on all U.S. registered aircraft as listed in the U.S./Canada bilateral agreement (Ref. CFR 43.17) and under EASA 145 (European Aviation Safety Agency).
Bell 412
The Bell 412 is a medium sized 15 place twin turbine powered helicopter incorporating a four bladed main rotor. The advanced design rotor system combines smooth, quiet, low vibration operation with hot and high hover performance and high cruise speed capability. The Bell 412EP is approved for single pilot operation from the right from seat and is certified for land operation under day or night VFR non-icing conditions as a Transport Category Rotorcraft. The standard Bell 412 incorporated all of the redundant systems necessary for Category A certification. The standard configuration interior carried thirteen passenger comfortably in the cabin. Soundproofed headliners and upholstered seats add comfort. Conversion from passenger to cargo configuration is easily accomplished by removal of the cabin seats.
