Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Location: Bagotville, QC
Reporting to: Base Lead
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Top Aces is in search of an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure that the company aircrafts are maintained in an airworthy and dispatch ready status at all times.
Ensure that all replacement parts are inspected, eligible and properly certified prior to installation
Ensure that removed parts are properly tagged and routed to quarantine
Ensure the work accomplished on any aircraft or component is in compliance with:
o The applicable manufacturer’s recommended standards
o Canadian Aviation Regulations
o Company Policies and Procedures
Responsible to sign for accomplishment of own work on applicable work forms and records, and to review forms and records to ensure entries are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
Assist in the On the Job Training and instruction of personnel
Carry out Independent Checks when authorized as per company policies and procedures
Carry out Receiving Inspections when authorized as per company policies and procedures
Ensure that his/her related training is valid at all times
Must be familiar and comply with Company policies and procedures
Perform any other duties as may be assigned
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and qualifications:
Transport Canada Accepted Aircraft Maintenance Training course or an Accredited Course
Experience on a commercial or military aircraft
Air Force experience, an asset
Proven track record of success working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative and technical/specialized knowledge
Ability to work well in a team and within a fast-paced environment
Ability to obtain a positive Security Clearance
Strong problem solving abilities and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Travel will be required in this role
