Chief Flight Instructor

Responsible For:             

  • Providing ground and in-flight instruction to students
  • Facilitating ground school classes
  • Flight scheduling and dispatch
  • Ensuring accuracy of pilot training records and other student files
  • Other duties as required and assigned by the Chief Flight Instructor


Qualifications:                 

Valid Canadian Flight Instructor Rating

Contract Length:             
June 24th to August 15th
May be adjusted based on requirements of Air Cadet contract

Salary:                              
$600/wk with $1000 retention bonus based on the following conditions:

  • Remain with the company for entire duration of the contract
  • Positive feedback from the company’s client regarding performance
  • Satisfactory completion of all assigned paperwork


Schedule:
                         
5 days on, 2 days off

    Discovery Air International was established to expand Discovery Air’s range of specialty aviation services domestically and internationally and will focus initially on executive charter, medevac and repatriation services out of Western Canada with its primary base and main operations based out of Calgary, Alberta.
