Discovery Air Technical Services announces a new contract with Canadian North for Boeing 737 component support and maintenance services

Quebec City, QC, Aug 13, 2012 – Discovery Air Technical Services Inc. (“DATS”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Discovery Air Inc., is pleased to announce a new, five year contract with Canadian North for Boeing 737 component support and maintenance services.

Under this contract, DATS will provide turnkey repair and overhaul services for over a thousand different Boeing 737-200 and -300 components and will provide logistics specialists who will be stationed on site within the Canadian North main operating bases and within DATS’ own facility for 24/7 coverage. 

“Canadian North received several proposals for component support and maintenance services for our fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft,” commented Tracy Medve, President of Canadian North.  “DATS submitted the most comprehensive proposal, which clearly demonstrated their understanding of our operations and expectations. Their customer focused approach and flexibility gave us the confidence to select them as our partner.”
