Quality Assurance Inspector

Location: Calgary, AB
Salary: Commensurate with experience



We have an immediate opening at our Calgary base for a Quality Assurance Inspector who will assist in ensuring compliance with all company and Transport Canada audit requirements as outlined in the Maintenance Policy Manual, Maintenance Control Manual and other approved documents.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for the following:

To produce accurate and timely scheduled audit reports;

Maintain technical awareness of all aspects of the company’s maintenance activities and recommend for implementation technical and procedural changes to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance;

Validating publications and amendment status of publications;

Audit technical records including audit work packages, journey logs, technical logbooks, mod/repair data, W&B, equipment lists;

Validating helicopter conformity of fleet through computer tracking, CHR’s, AD’s, and W&B;

Assist in audits of main base and sub bases and assists in development of CAP’s and follow ups;

Other duties and projects.


The Ideal Candidate

Licensed AME with a minimum of 5 years line experience as a rotary wing engineer;

Confident leader who is self-motivated, innovative and results-orientated; recognize, access, report and provide solutions;

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy and flexible environment;

Experience with Transport Canada regulations, processes, procedures, CARS’s, Maintenance procedures and policies along with standard auditing requirements;

Above average organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy and flexible environment.
